We are the Original New Braunfels Painting Party experience...celebrating 2 years and hundreds and hundreds of "happy little trees"! Yes, you can paint and you can finish a painting in about 3 hours, or so! Since we started offering our ART-2-Gogh Painting Parties at Casa de Linda Art Center in January 2011, more than 1,000 people have joined us and many come back again and again. Our exclusive ART-2-GOGH Painting Parties feature local scenes, along with a few other popular themes, developed and taught by Linda Calvert Jacobson. Linda and her husband, David, team up to create a fun evening of painting and socializing. The parties are occasionally scheduled as open seating but your best bet is to reserve your own private party for your group. That way you have the place to yourselves and you can pick your painting from our portfolio of projects.
HOW TO SCHEDULE AN ART-2-GOGH PAINTING PARTY
Birthdays for adults or teens. Family reunions. After-hours networking. Couples date night. Bonding activity for a retreat. Baby shower. Friends-n-family time. Or just because. There are many reasons to plan an ART-2-GOGH Painting Party at Casa de Linda Art Center! Most Friday and Saturday evenings as well as some Sunday afternoons are available for ART-2-GOGH parties. Scheduling a party is as simple as 1-2-3...
1. Get together a group of at least 6 but no more than 12.
Who can paint?
Our parties are designed for adults, but teens and even kids ages 10 and up are welcome as long as everyone who comes sits at the table and paints. No one may sit on the sidelines! This includes friends, parents, siblings, etc.
How much does it cost?
Our special private party fee is $35* per person, which includes everything you need — canvas, paints and use of our brushes, and great instructions — to help you complete your painting. If you have less than 6 but still want to do the party, you can have the party as long as you meet the $210 minimum.
*Due to the complexity and extra time it takes to finish them, we do add a $10 per person surcharge to the Gruene Hall painting and the Texas Windmill-n-Bluebonnets painting. You also need to allow an extra hour if you choose to do one of these paintings.

When should we reserve your space?
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! We suggest that you have a couple of date options on your list when you call in case we are booked already or we are unavailable for your first choice.
When are the parties held?
Most parties are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. (2 p.m for Sunday parties) and last about 4 hours from start to finish. We are somewhat flexible on the start time and will try to work with you as much as possible. Remember to allow extra time (and the extra fee) if you decided to do Gruene Hall or Texas Windmill-n-Bluebonnets. Below is a list of dates/times that might be available for your party. Please check with us first to be sure the party time you want isn't already booked.

3. Pick your painting, plan your refreshments.
What will we be painting?
Since these are "paint along" parties, each person in your group will be doing the same painting, which you can select from the paintings we have especially created for our parties.
What should we bring?
You are also welcome to bring whatever refreshments (wine, sodas, food) you want to enjoy during your party. We will set up everything you need to do your paintings as well as a table for your refreshments. And then we clean up at the end!
